On the 13th of December I made a trip into the dunes. It was the first trip since a month now. It was a cold morning with a nice sunrice as we stould on hill. Fallow Deer and foxes showed up and passed by. As soon the light was ok, we walked into the park and took some ok shots...

Medio October I ran in to a Buzzard (Buteo buteo). It was not shy at all so I could take some nice shots. An Ermine also appeared on the scene. Check it out!

In september this year is went to see the Red Deer (Cervus elaphus elaphus) in the rut. The stags are roaring as loud as they can to keep their harems of hinds together. Full of testosterone they walk around defending their harems to rival stags wich often leads to fights. Due to low light I had to you use very high ISO settings (with a max of ISO 3200), but the Mark3 did his job excellent! Here are some photos: (click on the photo)

I visited in october the German place of Diepholz, one of the places in Europe where the cranes (Grus grus) come by on their journey to the south. There were about 30.000 of them. The weather not as I have hoped for, but the sun was there for about one hour. On the 11th of November I will go again to Diepholz for more pictures I hope. Check them out....

Due to bad weather I was not able to make nice shots lately. Therefore I dived into my archive and rediscovered my trip to Germany (near the Czech border) where I tried to make nice photo's of wolves. They are my favorite predators and I love their group behaviour. Check them out...

I went out on the 19th of December to the dunes. I expected to make some nice snowshots, but I walked into a nice group of Mute Swans. Somebody behind the swans disturbed them and so they took of in my direction...

Wanted to photography Bearded Tits in the winter for a long time. I spend three days in the area. The first two had I lousy weather (other than predicted), but the last day was perfect. Snow everywhere (for the white backgrounds I was looking for) and a clear blue sky. The day started with very warm light due to the orange sunrise. I think I shot some really nice photo's. The 11th and 12th of April I was on the Island of Texel (Netherlands) where I tried to photograph the Bluethrought. The weather was worse as promissed so only had a few hours of descent light. These are the results, check them out!
